Free ATS Resume Checker for Recruiters

Companies and agencies hiring recruiters look at the roles you have hired for, how many positions you closed, how you source - Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals - and the ATS you work in. Upload your resume to see how it reads, which recruiting skills it shows, and what to improve before you apply.

By uploading, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy. Your CV is saved to a RoleMapr profile under the email in it, and that profile is visible to recruiters - even before you create an account.

What to highlight at your experience level

Fresher / 0-2 years

Show the roles you sourced or screened for, the job portals you used, and the number of candidates you handled each week. An internship at a consultancy or a campus hiring drive you helped with is worth including.

2-5 years

Show hiring numbers - positions closed per quarter, typical time to fill and offer-to-join ratio - and the kind of roles, such as tech, sales or leadership. Mention the hiring managers you supported and the ATS you used.

5+ years

Show how you ran hiring as a function - workforce plans you delivered, campus or lateral hiring programmes, agency management and cost per hire. Mention the recruiters you led and changes you made to the process.

Common Recruiter resume mistakes

  • Listing the full recruitment cycle as duties without a single number - hires closed, roles handled, time to fill.
  • Not saying what you hire for. IT, non-IT, volume, niche and leadership hiring are different skills, and recruiters filter for them.
  • Leaving out whether you worked in-house or at an agency, and for which kinds of clients.
  • Skipping the tools - Naukri RMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search and your ATS are what hiring managers look for.
  • Putting your hiring numbers in a chart or infographic. ATS software reads text, so write the numbers out in your bullets.

Weak vs strong resume bullet points

The strong versions say what you did, with which tool, and what changed because of it.

Weak: Handled end-to-end recruitment for IT roles.

Strong: Closed 42 IT positions in a year, mostly Java and DevOps roles, for a 1,500-person product company, sourcing through Naukri, LinkedIn and employee referrals.

Weak: Responsible for campus hiring.

Strong: Ran campus hiring at 8 engineering colleges, coordinating tests and panel interviews to make 120 offers, with most freshers joining in the planned batch.

Weak: Coordinated with hiring managers.

Strong: Set up weekly pipeline reviews with 6 engineering managers and agreed clear interview feedback timelines, cutting average time to fill for developer roles by about two weeks.

Frequently asked questions

How do I show hiring numbers on a recruiter resume?

Give the number of positions closed per month, quarter or year, the type of roles, and one or two process metrics such as time to fill or offer-to-join ratio. Use numbers you can explain in an interview - round figures are fine if you say they are approximate.

Can I move from a recruitment agency to an in-house talent acquisition role?

Yes, many in-house recruiters started at agencies. Highlight full-cycle work, close relationships with client hiring managers and candidate experience, not only sourcing and submissions. Hiring numbers in a specific domain such as tech or sales help too.

Is this resume checker free?

Yes. You can upload your resume and see the results without creating an account. If you sign up later with the same email, the full report and your job matches are saved to your profile.

What does the checker look at?

It reads your resume the way an ATS and a recruiter would: the role it fits, your experience level, the skills it finds, and how clearly your work and results come across. You get strengths and areas to improve.

What happens to my resume after I upload it?

It is saved to a RoleMapr profile under the email in your resume, and that profile is visible to recruiters looking for candidates. We email that address a link to remove it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
